FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am union carpenter, I have several hours of in class and hands on construction related experience having gone through the unions 2 apprenticeship program to graduate to journeyman status as a general carpenter.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was 17 lived in a small town and started my first job as a carpenter doing construction for a local contractor. We did mostly residential remodels but we did a bit of everything. Later having joined the carpenters union I started doing more commercial construction and learned to run heavy equipment, also done a lot of concrete work and form building, also picked up welding which I enjoy doing every now and then when the need arises.
