FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's required to maintain my architecture licenses in both Oregon and Washington. I specialize in natural daylighting so have studied that extensively.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I observed that my dad, a carpenter, began running out of physical steam in his 50's and I realized that a lifetime of construction takes a toll on one's body. As long as I retain my eyesight and mental acuity, I can practice architecture.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
About 40% remodels, the rest new construction. About 60% residential, the rest of my projects are small scale public buildings.
