David and his crew were an absolute pleasure. I needed some siding work done on various parts of my house. I also needed some window moldings replaced. MorningStar came out and evaluated everything that needed to be done, while working within my budget and understanding that we would not live in the house forever. The work was scheduled and done in a timely manor and additional work was done at no cost in a few areas that needed some attention after additional areas were discovered during the job. They litterally just saw that there were some other areas and went ahead and fixed them without ever asking for additional money or time. There were a couple of spots after the work was completed that I thought could be improved slightly, and David came back out and went above and beyond to ensure everything was PERFECT. I could not recommend more.

We had the south side of our house resided about 2 yrs. ago but noticed this summer that the siding (cedar) seemed to be pulling away from the house. David came out to look at our issue and give us a bid. He immediately knew that the person who had previously installed the siding had used Brad nails which weren’t holding the siding for lack of a head and which were also rusting because they weren’t stainless steel. He and his coworker did an amazing job renailing the siding, replacing boards that were bad on other parts of the house, and caulking around the windows. He went beyond the scope of what he had bid on and didn’t charge us for the extra work. We were so pleased with David and his work that we immediately asked him to bid another project for us. David is a great communicator, professional and personable, in addition to charging a very competitive price. We highly recommend David/Morning Star LLC.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have any fees you pay for whatever is on the invoice I’m upfront at how much everything’s gonna be from the beginning and there will be no surprises when it comes to doing payments
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I tend to meet with them discuss the project and then send them over an estimate which they can turn into a Invoice after accepting the estimate into an invoice, we write up a contract and then we do a step-by-step play on how everything’s gonna to work out
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve taken the Tyvek (water proofing) training course and the James Hardy installation course
