- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on two levels. One level is advisory at a rate of $75.00 per hour which is half the going rate. If I contract to do a business plan and financial model which is a longer term project the rate is $50.00 per hour but the work is on retainer, in other words prepaid. There has to be a commitment to regular work sessions in order that the project be completed in a timely manner. Otherwise, if the project stretches over many months, by the time the project is actually finished it needs to be re-written to that is wasteful. There is no charge for the first hour of consultation to determine if our working relationship is good fit. I will also spread your financial statements for free and compare your results to your peer group. That is a lot o f work but it shows my commitment to help you determine where you are financially and where you could be with diligence and a strong effort. I want you to succeed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I provide a free consultation to determine their needs and what the clients wants to accomplish. I am a good fit for that, we continue on. Then we assess the company and it performance to see where it is now. Then we decide what is possible and at what level of success we wish to attain. Next we devise a plan or road map to follow and like a personal trainer gets the workout done and the goal achieved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years of practical experience on the job working with small businesses and have attended banking school post grad.
