I loathe having my picture taken... Unless Cambrae is the photographer! Aside from the awesome shots, she is extremely gifted at making us 'camera shy' people feel comfortable in front of the camera. And you know that moment of dread right before you see a picture of yourself? It's gone the second you see her shots. She has a knack at finding the perfect angle/shot/magic photographer know-how that's just right for you.

Working with Cambrae is such an easy process. She is very personable, fun and makes you feel so comfortable, like an old friend. When we had family pictures done she was great! In the meeting about the photo session she had good suggestions as well as listening to the ideas we had. I emailed her with questions before the session and she was quick to get back to me. When it came to the day of the pictures (done at a local park) she was prompt, well organized and prepared. Cambrae was great at making some of the family who were feeling awkward about having their pictures taken comfortable. She has a special talent for making you feel relaxed and capturing the right moments. She knows the right spots/locations to take truly beautiful pictures. She made sure that each family grouping got the pictures they want and well as getting everyone together for the main pictures. The photos truly are wonderful memories we will have forever. I will be recommending Cambrae over and over again!! Cambrae is a warm person who is able to put you at ease if you are camera shy!

Cambrae is a consummate professional, easy going, and fun to work with. She shot my DJ headshot as well as my band's promo pictures and live performances. She was open to our suggestions, including using a projector! I cannot recommend her enough!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I love to start by meeting in person to discuss your goals for your photography session, as well as get to ask questions, and just meet face to face, but am always happy to chat by phone, Facetime, or Skype as well.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I started photography in the 8th grade doing work with film in the darkroom. My education continued throughout college including an internship with another wedding photographer, then next opening my own business in 2006, and re-branding the company in 2010 to what it is now. I also do continued education now as the photography business is ever evolving with technology.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Meet with your photographer in person, or at least have a conversation with them. Photography is an intimate thing and it is so important that you connect with and have rapport with the person you will be working with.
