I cannot recommend Gauri enough! She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I was initially nervous after the trial about how natural my makeup would look, but she completely nailed it. My makeup held up through the rain, all my tears, and hours of dancingit was flawless!Not only that, but my hair was exactly like the picture I sent her, and it stayed perfectly in place for two days after!She also did my moms makeup, which was a challenge since my mom has struggled to find artists who truly get her, but Gauri did an incredible job. My cousin, who wanted a completely different style, was equally thrilled.Beyond her talent, Gauris calm and professional presence made such a difference. Gauri is absolutely amazing! I had the best experience with her for having my hair and makeup done for multiple occasions including my own wedding! Apart from being incredibly skilled makeup and hair artist, she is extremely professional and punctual and so easy going!Most recently she did a Morticia Addams inspired make up look for a Halloween themed wedding. From our first conversation, she completely understood the look I was going for a blend of elegance with a touch of spooky charm and executed it perfectly. The makeup looked absolutely stunning, photographed beautifully, and lasted through the entire celebration.I absolutely recommend her if you are looking for a professional make up artist. I only have two words for Gauris Makeup - Flawless and Stunning. I hired her for 5 different looks for my wedding festivities and I still cannot decide which was better than the other because each one was so perfect for the occasion, for the dress and for the vibe. She is also extremely patient, reliable and seems to have a magic wand in one of her makeup brushes that fixes things and everything looks unreal yet real.Lets talk hair now, with Gauri every hair look proves its a #goodhairday. All my years of getting highlights done in different shades got highlighted only after Gauri decided to work on them. She also encouraged me to try different hairstyles which I wld have never tried if not for her and they were all so perfect that I kept wondering why did I discard braids or partitions ever before.So if anyone in and around Portland are looking to look as beautiful as the city, she definitely is the goto!
