FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide fully transparent, project-specific pricing with no hidden fees. After an on-site consultation I deliver a detailed written quote that includes labor, materials, waterproofing systems, and cleanup. Because every installation is custom and built to last decades, my pricing reflects premium craftsmanship. I do not offer blanket discounts, but returning clients and larger scopes receive preferential pricing adjustments due to increased efficiency.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process begins with an initial contact in which we discuss the scope, timeline, and budget. I then schedule an on-site visit to measure, assess substrate conditions, review material selections, and provide expert recommendations. Within 24–48 hours I deliver a detailed written proposal. Once the proposal is accepted, we lock in materials and scheduling. Installation is clean, organized, with minimal disruption to your home. Most projects are completed in 5– 14 days depending on size, and I am usually able to begin work within two to three weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years of full-time tile installation experience, with the last 10 years focused exclusively on high-end custom work. I was initially trained under European master tile setters and hold multiple manufacturer certifications including Schluter, Wedi, Ardex, Mapei, and Custom Building Products. I maintain annual continuing education on large-format porcelain, waterproofing systems, and advanced mosaic techniques. All of my installations consistently exceed TCNA and ANSI standards. I am a fully licensed, Bonded & Insured Contractor in Oregon & California
