We requested her assistance in putting together a special type of portfolio that would be presented to perspective birth mothers who were considering us for adoption. She was also able to help us create a video highlighting our daily lives to show the aforementioned mothers when reviewing our portfolio. Then once we were chosen and received our baby boy, she was there for us again at his adoption ceremony. Needless to say, we will be retaining her as his photographer for all of his firsts, birthdays, future achievements, etc.Two things that were important to me when looking for a photographer were that they were LGBTQ+ friendly as well as of course the quality of their work. Normally Ive been the only person who could take a decent picture of myself and even then that would be one good shot out of hundreds. But with Aida I was pleasantly surprised to find dozens and dozens of great shots to choose from. Not to mention anyone who may be affected knows how stressful and daunting a task it can be to find an LGBTQ+ friendly business in any aspect of ones life. Aida however, was professional yet very down to earth and kept us at ease during all of our shoots. She also provided great direction and was full of different ideas in order to maximize our time together, therefore affording us a variety of options to choose from when it came to the finished product. We found that what you get with Aida Visuals is a fun experience where you dont feel the pressures of getting the perfect shot. You instead feel like youre simply hanging out with friends, one of which carries a camera and in the end DOES capture the perfect shot. Despite this laissez-faire environment, you can always trust that youll be getting quality photos from her. Aida has an obvious and keen eye for composing an artistic yet tasteful photograph. Additionally we appreciated her promptness in providing us with the finished product as we were on a unique time crunch.Our only regret was not having found her sooner, back when we got married and needed a wedding photographer. The one we had hired back then, boasted 10+ years experience and took hundreds of photos during our ceremony. But in the end, it took weeks to receive barely 100 photos that were subpar to say the least. We are happy to report that this has not been the case with the work we have received from Aida Visuals. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this business to anyone and everyone for your photographic needs!!"See more

The quality of the photograph depends on the eye of the photographer. It'a a split second, here, and capturing the right moment, there. Peggy was working with me and letting me relax slowly into a photogenic mindset ... something I think is uncomfortable for most of us. The result? The headshot I was hoping she would capture.
