FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My first 20 minute conversation with you is free. We will discuss your needs and determine if my skills are a good fit. I'll review the scope of the project and give you the cost. Fees are based on the type of project (resume and cover letter preparation, grant writing, manuscript editing, writing diagnostics, academic coaching, SAT prep, college application essays), complexity and length of the project. Let's discuss your project, and I will offer either a flat fee or hourly rate. You decide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send me the information you have for your project--your outdated resume, date of interview or SAT test, or example of business writing you need to master. We'll talk about the particulars of the project. I'll send you a contract which includes a non-disclosure clause, and an invoice for payment. The contract will describe the scope of the engagement, deliverables, and payment terms. I accept payment via certified check, Zelle or as we discuss. When I receive the signed contract and payment, I'll create and customize your program or product. Once we review it, I'll get started. If you have chosen an hourly fee, I will send invoices as needed so that you can pay in advance of next steps.
