I have been working on exteriors of homes for over 17 years. From structural dry-rot to any type of wood or composite siding. The types of siding include cedar shake, cedar lap, T1-11 and Hardi-plank. We offer full resides or repairs if needed. I pride myself in being as honest as I can about my availability and skills. My estimates are line itemized so you are able to see the cost of each item of work to budget properly.

Great all around job! Rex and his crew did restorative maintenance, weatherizing, and touch up painting on our late 70s house, which has fiber cement siding. Glad we were able to book him before the rainy season. Would recommend.

Rex and his team did a great job addressing a few issues with our siding, exterior door trim, and a rotten fascia board under our roof. We are getting our house painted soon and needed to address dry rot and some other issues prior to painting the house. Rex was easy to work with and gave me a quote less than half of a competitor. He was able to fit my projects into his schedule and we will definitely hire him back for any future issues.

Grateful to Rex and his crew with Broadleaf Construction. He did siding on our entire house with pretty extensive damage around two of the windows and replaced a beam under the house. He is a great communicator and kept us apprised of any additional costs to the project when damage was found. He also painted our home as well and did a great job. He and his crew showed up on time every day and worked even in cold temps to get the job done. The photo attached was before we installed the front lights and it was overcast, but we are thrilled with the end result. Highly recommend.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do my best to make the customer feel at ease. When spending your hard earned money on your personal property I want all my clients to feel confident in choosing a solid trustworthy contractor.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started working with my dad at the age of 17, he had been a contractor in Salem for 27 years. Once I felt confident I started my own company with a partner in 2011. The partnership ended in 2017 and Broadleaf Construction started.
