Duane was great from start to finish from communication and planning to the finished pictures. He was very professional yet laid back making us feel at ease. He was flexible with our requests, made sure we got all the poses we wanted, and made great suggestions too. Turn around time on our photos was faster than expected which was an added bonus.

I bought a custom print photo from Duane and am so impressed! He sent me not one but 2 exposures of my photo along with a print of the negative and the turnaround time was exceptional! Duane was such a pleasure to work with! He was extremely responsive, professional, polite, and efficient. He even checked in with me the week before to confirm that he was still planning on our event, which i greatly appreciated.
He arrived early, was patient when we had some mishaps, and captured every special moment.
This was his first wedding and absolutely he killed it! He did beautiful work and we had our photos back in less than a week.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am willing to work with my clients to make sure we are both happy with pricing. The contract I provide is very clear and understandable. I charge a % of my fee as a deposit, and I give a discount if you pay the entire price upfront. Unlike most photographers, I am happy to give you the copyright to your pictures, so you really own them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give new customers a call to learn more about what they want out of a photoshoot. It is also a good time for me to tell the client about me and my process. If things seem like a good fit, I draft a contract, and then schedule the photoshoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have some formal training from classes and a mentor. I also worked as a photojournalist for my college newspaper, where I learned a lot about photography.
