FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I will continually re-educate myself in the field of yoga. In 2014 I received Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors certification from Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, NC. I registered for this training because there are more and more studies available that confirm the benefits of yoga practice for aging adults. The studies are claiming improvements to cardiovascular health, osteoporosis, arthritis, scoliosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, reducing stress, and much more.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a long-time yoga student with a dream of becoming a yoga teacher. My dream came true and now I've opened my own studio! I am blessed!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I not only teach group classes, but I teach private clients in their homes or in my studio. This service gives the client one-on-one instruction. A program that is designed specifically around their own personal goals. The sessions are generally 60 minutes long or longer and range between 2-3 times per week. I have many packaged pricing options available.
