Right on Arkeon! What great service! From the get-go till the last truck pulled away these guys were fast and furious! We had a pipe fail beneath our bathroom sink. We contacted Arkeon. They had folks out here within a couple of hours and quickly got the moisture under control. It was a good thing we called Arkeon. They quickly discovered the water had travelled below the floor down into the crawl space beneath our house. What a process! The wet insulation had to be removed and the vapor barrier drained. Once the area was dry new vapor barrier and insulation were installed. Water had penetrated into the ducting below; they drained it and eventually replaced all of the ducting as the ducting insulation was soaked and they needed to prevent it from getting moldy. They set up fans and a dehumidifier to prevent further damage. We wound up saving a lot of materials that otherwise would have been damaged, such as our kitchen cabinets! It would have been a terrible inconvenience had they needed to be replaced. Arkeon had an HVAC inspector out and discovered the water had damaged our system. I was glad that the folks at Arkeon had really stressed not to use the system until it was checked! And they presented the evidence to the insurance company and got the old unit replaced. We chose to upgrade and they got us full value for our old unit. All we had to pay was a small amount to totally upgrade our system to a unit much more efficient, saving us on our monthly bills. During their inspection, Arkeon found mold where we had water damage a couple of years ago. The other company had not dealt with the moisture properly from a water heater failure, and it left mold around the closet underneath our flooring as well as in the underside of our home. They remediated all of the mold. They built a large plastic chamber with a special HEPA filtered machine that kept the mold from spreading in our home while they did this work. Unfortunately we did not have mold coverage so they did the mold cleanup at an unbelievably low cost for us. We love our home! We are so grateful that we chose the right company to do the job! Oh... and Arkeon handled all aspects of the insurance claim for us. So it was like going to the doctor where all we had to do was pay our co-pay and they handled all of the billing. I can't praise Arkeon enough for their work quality! Thanks Arkeon!

Joe and Billy with Arkeon were phenomenal! We had insulation blown iinto our garage and installed a mini split. After the insulation was blown in, we had more residual dust or debris than we thought we would. My husband did not think even his shop vac would clean it up. They had a hepa filter to pick up the debris. The constructed a "clean room" where they ran poles into our garage and used plastic for the clean area. Then they put everything back in the same general area we had our belongings in before. To borrow a phrase, it was like it never really happened! They were punctual and communicated with us very well throughout the process. They were very professional and laid out a number of suggestions so we could decide what to do. They were so reasonable with their quote as well, it was half of what we expected! For 5 hours of work it was iincredible value! My husband was so relieved and it took so much stress of him to hire someone who could handle and execute the whole thing. He talked about the stress relief for DAYS! I give 5 stars, and would absolutely hire them again. They seem to do lots of different things, so if you have a project that has a question mark next to it, give them a call. You'll be glad you did! Then you can say too, "like it never really happened!"

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of the work that we do is covered by insurance so all we would collect is a deductible, and bill insurance for the rest. Of course we work with clients on self-pay jobs as well and are competitively priced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would schedule with you according to the response needs of the situation. Generally I inspect and assess the situation or the need and determine what the best route is for handling, and propose the best route for the client. Often there is a question as to whether something should go through insurance or not, and I help with that and we proceed according to the needs of the situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed general contractor and am also certified in water, fire, smoke, water damage, mold remediation. I have 39 years of experience handling jobs from a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage, rebuilding from the ground up, etc.
