We offer THREE services:
1) Fitness Equipment Assembly - WEIGHT MACHINES ONLY
-We DO NOT ASSEMBLE: ***treadmills ***bikes *** NO CARDIO
EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY!
-Minimum fee of $200 for the first 1.5 hours, $50 per 30 minutes after that.
2) We specialize in a TWO YEAR SERVICE MEMBERSHIP with a 0% downtime guarantee. Fewer than 2% of our customers experienced unexpected equipment malfunctions in 2024, in these rare cases there are no diagnostic fees.
$250 fee for a two year service agreement
-Service must include at least one TREADMILL
-Residential ELLIPTICALS and BIKES are NOT ELIGIBLE by themselves
-IF THE MACHINE REQUIRES REPAIR it must be UNDER 7 YEARS OLD
-Inquire about service for multiple pieces of equipment
SERVICE MEMBERSHIP includes:
-One preventative maintenance visit per year (Two total)
-Onsite diagnostic response within 5 business days
-2 year 0% downtime guarantee - no diagnostic fees
-10% off repair labor
-Service PLAN IS TRANSFERRABLE in the case of machine replacement
-REPAIR LABOR AND PARTS ARE NOT INCLUDED
3) Our BREAK-FIX option:
-$195 initial diagnostic visit fee
-Repair labor and parts not included.
-3 month warranty on workmanship
ELLIGIBLE EQUIPMENT:
Fully operational machines that are 10 years of age or newer
If diagnostics are involved during the first service visit, the machine must be under 7 years of age
Machine under 7 years old requiring diagnostics
Machine under 7 years old requiring part installation (customer has parts)

We are very pleased with the maintenance service they offered, our treadmill feels as good as new. The technician arrived on time, was super friendly and respectful of our place. He explained the whole process in detail, and once he was done, had me check that everything was to my liking and offered to come back if any issue arose. We will continue to work with them for the foreseeable future! Cannot recommend them enough.

Fitness Machine Technicians were very easy to schedule a visit with through the Thumbtack app. Emily got me scheduled within a couple days. Nick arrived as scheduled, completed general maintenance and identified the issue with my treadmill as well as answering all my questions. Jessie unboxed and set up my new (heavy) Tempo fit machine from the van to my exercise room. I then hired them to tune up my 20 year old treadmill. Would definitely hire them again and recommend them to my friends! Prices were very reasonable

The Technician that came was very confident and expediently put my equipment together in no time at all. I am very happy. Fitness Machine Technicians made my life so much easier. I had purchased a treadmill: Proform Pro 2000 online. It was communicated to me AFTER I had purchased and the item was on its way that (due to Covid) that they would only deliver to threshold and not what I had ordered (to have the white glove treatment & treadmill set up and delivered). By the time it got to assembly of the treadmill I was so frustrated. Prior to Fitness Machine Technicians arriving to set up the treadmill I had already had to hire professional movers to put the treadmill into the basement and about electrician to put a new fuse and plug in for the treadmill. I tried for 3.5 hours to put the treadmill together myself. Thank you, Fitness Machine Technicians!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Repair Process
● We do not stock parts (with the exception of some hardware and commonly used batteries), so we typically need to schedule a technician
to diagnose the issues. If technician can make repairs without parts he will do so.
● The diagnostic visit is $150 (Plus Tax in Washington)
● If parts are needed to complete the repair then we provide you with
an estimate for the second trip in 3-5 business days.
● Estimates require approval before parts are ordered for repair.
● You may schedule your repair two weeks following estimate approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sometimes we'll schedule via the Thumbtack application, but often-times we'll ask for your phone number reach out via phone and/or text to find a time for service.
We have holiday, weekend, and rush services available for a $50 fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fitness Machine Technicians began in Malvern, Pennsylvania in 2002.
Jesse (owner) - MN Air National Guard C-130 jet engine mechanic (9 years). High school counselor (10 years).
Bryson (Service Manager) - Co-founder's son, 3 year apprenticeship, 2 years as service manager in Portland.
