I came to Karen over five years ago knowing nothing about horses. In that time, Karen has taught me everything from a good seat and hands, to horse care, and to just an overwhelming love of the sport and animal. Karen has taught me many disciplines such as hunt seat, dressage, saddle seat, and western equitation. She walked me through my first days of showing in 4 h, OHSET, and local open and schooling Shows. She has made learning to ride well not just fun, but something that I continually strive to get better and better at. Karen places a huge emphasis on making sure her riders don't just know how to do something, but know why they are doing it. She will walk you through every step of the learning process and use new and creative ways to get you to where you need to be. Karen has been able to teach me years and years of riding skills in the few short years I have been with her. And with those skills she gave me, I was able to do an amazing working student position in Columbus, Ohio under a top FEI dressage trainer. The skills and riding methods she taught me hunt seat on her horses she taught in such a way that they were easily transferable to dressage warm bloods. And if your goals aren't open shows or riding crazy warm bloods in ohio, Karen also caters to that to. Karen will provide you with a fun, stimulating ride to fill whatever your goal may be and will create a warm, positive learning environment to reach that goal. -Erika M.

Karen is a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher - very easy to understand and supportive. She has an excellent eye and knows just what needs work. She expects the rider to listen and execute. I am a rider who is extremely rusty but Karen did not "coddle" me. I appreciate her skills and look forward to more lessons in the future.

Wow! Not only did I discover that I COULD sit on and ride a horse, but I learned more than I could have imagined about horses from Karen Bragg. Clearly her ability to TEACH left a profound impression on me. She made it educational, comfortable and FUN!.

Karen explains the how and WHY of each piece of equipment and how to put it on the horse. She explains each step of the riding experience and is patient and helpful. It has been at least 25 years since I have been on a horse and this is a real treat. I have had 2 lessons and look forward to the next one. I am looking forward to knowing how to really ride, not just sit on a horse at a resort once in a while.

I have only worked with Karen for about a month now but I am so impressed. I came back to riding after a long time off as a very rusty re-beginner. her human communication and coaching knowledge are clear, professional and caring. Her horse knowledge is way above par and I am learning from her each time. I am very pleased and would highly recommend her and her lesson horses.
