McKenzie River Locksmith absolutely rescued me! I accidentally locked my keys in my car at the Sahalie Falls trailhead and immediately panicked, assuming I might be stranded for hours waiting for someone to come from Eugene or another distant town.I was incredibly relieved when I called McKenzie River Locksmith and they answered right away and said they could be there in about 30 minutes. They arrived when they said they would, quickly got into my car so I could retrieve my keys, and were kind and friendly throughout the entire process.Even better, the whole service only cost $70, which felt remarkably affordable considering the remote location and how quickly they were able to reach me.I went from thinking I might be stranded at the trailhead for hours to having my keys back in my hands surprisingly quickly. I was extremely grateful and genuinely impressed by the promptness, friendliness, and affordability of their service. Five stars and highly recommended to anyone needing a locksmith in the greater McKenzie River/Santiam area!

10/10 recommend. I was in the area on a business trip and my rental car locked me out! The rental company was taking far too long and I was stranded! If it was not for their quick service I would still be stranded. Many thanks for everything ! Fairly priced too.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clear rates: Most jobs run $150-$250, depending on the number of locks and hardware.
Travel: We service all of Lane County Oregon. After Hours calls with travel 1+ hours away will require an upfront charge to secure job and cover any used costs (gas etc.) should you have to cancel while in route.
After‑hours: Emergency or late‑night lockouts will have an additional charge.
Hardware: Any parts needed are priced upfront with no surprises.
Discounts: Reduced rates for multiple locks and repeat local customers.
Upfront estimates: You’ll always know the cost before work begins.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact — You tell me what you need (lockout, rekey, install, hardware issue), and I give a clear estimate right away.
Scheduling — We pick a time that works for you. I confirm your location and any details I should know before arrival.
On‑site assessment — When I arrive, I walk through the issue, explain options, and confirm pricing before any work begins.
Service completion — I complete the job efficiently, test everything with you, and make sure the hardware works smoothly.
Follow‑up — I answer any questions, offer maintenance tips, and provide discounted rates for future rekeys or additional locks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a licensed locksmith with over 10 years of professional experience, trained in Residential, Automotive, and Commercial lock systems. My background includes advanced lockout techniques, rekeying, hardware installation, key generation, and non‑destructive entry methods. I’ve spent the last decade serving rural and urban customers throughout the Willamette Valley.
