Jason is awesome.
It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us.
First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5.
Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord.
That's all due to Jason's help.
It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar.
Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter.
And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.

I ended up having to cancel the guitarlessons previously arranged with Jason. It was a bummer on my part, Because I had truly wanted these lessons. Jason was very understanding. He refunded my money, although he didn’t have to. I’m looking to reschedule him now.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a guitarist begins lessons with me I aim to teach them songs and techniques that are familar to them based upon the music they enjoy. After the comfort zone has been set we simply and slowly grow our ability to play.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been teaching guitar and music theory for over 30 years. For me, I wanted to understand music at an early age. The process usually begins when we fall in love with a song. Learning how to play the songs we love is a lot of fun!
