If youre looking for a painter in the Portland area, you should absolutely have Pacific Sky out for a bid. I had several companies come out for exterior painting on my 1950s house. I got a couple of bids from larger companies (the ones that show up at the top of Google) and they both came in over $15k for a 1,400 square foot ranch. Those guys were just estimators who would turn the job over to a crew and be gone in a few days.Then I had Pacific Sky out and met Marco, the owner. He took the time to talk through my concerns, budget, and what I did and didn't want repaired. His bid was much closer to what I was expecting, and ended up hiring him.Marco and his small crew (including his dad, who is awesome) did all of the work themselves. They ended up taking a couple extra days doing repairs to pull out rotten fascia and siding, and then did a great job on the paint. Communication was great throughout the whole process, too. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
