Eric is one of the best instructors ever! He has a wealth of knowledge And experience when it comes teaching English horseback riding and jumping. He has a very comprehensive Understanding of human and equine biomechanics which is impressive to me as an orthopedic physical therapist. He has a gift to accommodate everyone's learning styles to help them become a better rider each lesson. He gives proper verbal cues At The correct Timing and appropriate drills To help with motor learning of the skills. He has helped me to not over analyze my riding. I leave there learning something new every lesson and feel Im becoming a better rider each week. It is apparent that he is passionate about horses and what he does for living. I recommend him to anyone And everyone!

Donohue Horsemanship is the absolute best place to learn Ray Hunt/ Buck Brannaman style natural horsemanship. Being a green rider when I first started, the Donohues showed me everything to start working safely and effectively with horses. This is a wonderful environment for a beginner or an advanced rider to hone their skills. I have been riding there for over three years now and have been exposed to everything from riding, roping, and cow working. Silverspade Ranch is a safe supportive environment for learning and making new friends. All the students and boarders are amazing and my wife and I have made many new lifelong friends. The Donohues are the only place you need to look if you want the best in horsemanship.

I am in my 30’s and started riding lessons with Lorina about 3 months ago. She is so knowlegable and caring when it comes to horses. Lorina constantly educates me on the health and body of a horse, the propery cleaning and dressing, different riding termonlogy, and of course the proper way to ride. I had no idea when I first started how or why you hold the reins a certain way, or how most horses respond primarily to your body movement and legs. It’s been truly awesome to be so educated and fall in love with a new hobby at this age. She is a book of knowledge and is very throughoug in making sure I understand what I’m being taught and I really appreciate that. Nedeau is a super clean facility and very laid back. Everyone I have meet there has been extreamly friendly and welcoming. I take lessons with Tucker which is one of Lorina’s horses and he is wonderful! Of course I’m a little bias to him but all of her horses are super sweet and well trained. My initial goal was to just enjoy riding with the hopes of learning enough so one day I can own my own horse. I have no doubt that one day I will be ready to own my own horse thanks to Lorina!

First-ever horseback riding lesson, including 20 min of tack. Start to finish, Jessica encouraged my 11 yr old, trusted her with the reins and provided a lot of quality information. She builds confidence and skills, and we can't wait to come back!

I have only worked with Karen for about a month now but I am so impressed. I came back to riding after a long time off as a very rusty re-beginner. her human communication and coaching knowledge are clear, professional and caring. Her horse knowledge is way above par and I am learning from her each time. I am very pleased and would highly recommend her and her lesson horses.

My 7 year old daughter had been asking me for a long time to take horseback riding lessons, and I wasn't even sure where to begin looking. I searched the website and found Bowman Sport Horses. After reading the reviews, I decided to contact them to get more information. Almost immediately, I received a response from Ahna and we set up a date and time that was convenient for my family. A few days before her lesson, Ahna made sure to get information regarding my daughter's experience with horses - which was none. When we arrived, my daughter was immediately taught horse safety and how to tack a horse, as well as the names of the equipment used. Ahna and her family showed a lot of patience while teaching her the basics of horseback riding. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Harley and I have been taking lessons since Fall 10 and we have come leaps and bounds with only a few real leaps and bounds involved. HAHA. My horse and I are more engaged with each other. I embrace natural horsemanship and the ground work transfers to the riding. Having to ride once a week no matter what really helps. I reccommend Rebekah heartily.

The first thing I noticed about Elizabeth is her passion for horses and helping people connect with them. I found her to be a talented teacher as well. Always clear, patient, encouraging, building one principal on the foundation of the last. Continually testing my comfort zone without ever expecting too much or giving me more than I could handle. I was constantly inspired by her confidence in me, which in turn built my confidence in myself. And she's fun to be around too so lessons never seemed like work! :-) After only riding horses for a few months, I owe her a great big "Thank you!!" each and every of the countess times someone has complimented me saying "I thought you've been riding for years. I had no idea you've just started." So here it is... Thank you Elizabeth! You're awesome to work with!

Adria, at Iron Horse Riding Academy, has been a godsend for me, for my daughter, and for our horse, Dylan. Adria's calm and competence were just what we were looking for. She has instilled confidence and a love of riding in our daughter, and has brought out the very best in her horse. A great combination. Thank you, Adria!

About

I believe being with horses should be a fun relaxing experience like being with any other pet. I believe that you and your horse had a good ride it shouldn't matter what a judge thought of you two. What matters is that you two are safe and happy.

About

We offer a fun, safe environment where you can learn horseback riding! At the Horse Sense Riding School, we offer private and small group horseback riding lessons. We love working with students of all ages, whether you are a new student or returning to riding as an adult. In our lessons, you or your child will learn techniques and skills from many different riding styles, and develop strong horsemanship skills. We believe that each rider has different goals and skills, and we design our lesson plans to meet those individual needs. We strive to create a safe and positive environment for learning. Lease options are also available. Our senior horses have come to us as rescues or unwanted horses, and we have re-schooled them to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible - while still offering some challenge to more experienced riders. We are committed to providing our horses with forever homes. We have special programs for riders with disabilities, low income families, at risk youth and seniors. We also offer a work exchange program for adult riders seeking more affordable riding options.

About

I have a life long passion for teaching and have over 15 years experience teaching all levels of riders. I have competed horses at a national level in several disciplines so I can offer that show experience to my students. I also grew up riding in a canyon so I love teaching people how to trail ride safely. My kind one on one attention to my students sets me apart from many instructors who expect students to just do as they say. I know I am a great riding instructor because I see my students improve each lesson and they give me great feedback and ask great questions if they don't understand something. I take my students success personally in a good way. If my students are not progressing then I need to improve my teaching skills and style.
