Upfront / important notes:
1) I typically run between 2-3 weeks out for bookings, sometimes I can get out to see you sooner. The cost for a hot tub deep cleaning is $440, stainless specialty spas $600, and swim spas $750. A diagnostic appt is $270. Repair work quoted in person commensurate with the parts/labor needed. I keep a wide assortment of inventory in my van and can often quote and complete a repair to get your tub back up in the same visit.
2) I charge a travel fee commensurate with the distance and time I need to drive to for addresses outside my service area. When you book I'll determine if this applies and quote the travel cost for your address.
3) I'm honest, experienced, and highly capable; I do very good work. If you need straightforward and capable diagnostic and/or repair work w/o nonsense/bs you're in very good hands.
4) I specialize in hot tub, spa, and pool pumphouse diagnostics, repair, and professional deep cleanings. I don't offer monthly/regular chemical checks/adjustments for hot tubs or pools nor do I offer turnaround services for short term rentals.
5) Licensed, bonded, and insured. OR CCB 253847
It's hot tubbin' time!
Deep cycling your hot tub (or spa) water, cleaning the internal plumbing, refreshing filters and maintenance inspection are all important but labor intensive tasks. Life is busy. Let me help.
Things I do:
Chemically deep clean your hot-tub or sauna's plumbing. I create a chemical solvent out of your water that dissolves everything organic (bacteria, skin cells, hair, grime, etc.) ; pull and deep clean the filters, drain the water, scrub and rinse the shell, clean jets and vacuum out hoses, refill, pH optimize, shock and balance with chlorine or bromine sanitizer. I clean the cover and the outside of the tub. It'll look (and be) like brand new.
If you have a leak(s), broken jets, heat issues, problems with pumps or plumbing, or issues with your control board or components there's hope. I'll come out and inspect your unit, diagnose failures, find/order parts, and repair any issue. I do very good work, and I stand behind it.
Need help diagnosing water chemistry? If you have scale build-up (sandy texture on shell), green water, cloudy water, issues with your sanitizer (strong smells and/or skin irritation), or would like to put in place a sustainable, economic, and easy-to-maintain system to keep things in balance as you use your tub I can help.
Electrical issues and/or GFCI breaker keep tripping? I'll quickly diagnose the issue and isolate the problem component for repair or replacement. I can install sub-panels, breakers, and correct found issues with your electrical.
Recently buy a house with an existing tub of unknown age/condition/provenance? Trust me you're going to want to deep clean this sucker no matter how clear the water looks. The gunk that builds behind each jet and condensed biofilms (throughout internal piping) built up from prior use are nasty and need to go. I'll do a full maintenance cycle, deep clean, and inspection so you know what you've got. If you need help jumpstarting chemicals with a starter pack I've got your back.
Buildup of grime, precipitated minerals, and sanitizers in the water is bad for your skin and terrible for your tub's (expensive) components. I offer annualized maintenance plans and will deep clean and change out your water every 90 or 180 days to ensure it's running in optimal condition. A tub/spa is just like a car and requires regular maintenance. Costs pennies on the dollar compared to expensive and avoidable repairs.
If you're thinking of buying a home with a hot tub or spa assume nothing! Home inspectors aren't qualified to evaluate a hot tub's condition and it's breezed over if addressed at all in the reports. A hot tub is an asset or a liability; there is no middle and looks are deceiving. Always best to know upfront a tub's actual condition, the quality of the wiring, state of the motor/pump and control system, outstanding issues, and the expected life and what the cost of ownership will be. There are many economy tubs in place today which fail in the first 3 years and are worth less than the cost to remove them, yet are sold to new home buyers at a premium as working features. I will come out and tell you exactly what you have. There are brands to avoid and component lifecycles to be aware of. Always best to have the facts upfront and the true value reflected in your purchase agreement.
Time's money and money is best kept in your pocket. I don't rep for a company and won't push to (up)sell any line of products. Hot tubs and/or spas are investments which cost FAR more to neglect than to maintain.
I'm based out of Tualatin. I'll show up on time, prepared, and I work fast. I do very high quality work. Good communication, respect, complete transparency, and honesty in all dealings. Golden rule.
At most I'm 3 weeks out on scheduling but will make every effort to see you as soon as possible. Reach out for availability.
I'm exceptionally good at finding and remediating leaks. Most technicians won't even return your call for a leak job. I step into jobs every day that others won't even try (or they'll tell you to buy a new tub). There's no substitute for experience, skill, and technical competence. You either know what you're doing or you don't, and it shows in the quality and speed of the work.
I also work on jetted tubs, softubs, custom built-in spas, pool liner replacements, stainless steel tubs, cedar tubs, pump-house maintenance, as well as sauna kit construction and diagnostic maintenance.
