- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer transparent, competitive pricing — among the best in the market. All quotes are upfront and itemized, with no hidden fees. Our rates reflect the total cost of labor, travel, and basic materials. (Please note: moving or hauling services are not included.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Service Policies 1. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations. • Same-day cancellations or reschedules may incur a $50 fee to compensate technician travel time. 2. Unboxing & Liability • Please do not open boxes before your appointment. If opened, FixTman cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged parts. • The remaining balance is due once replacement parts are supplied (if applicable). 3. Moving & Haul-Away • FixTman does not move, haul, or dispose of furniture or packaging. • Please ensure items are in their final installation room before your technician arrives. 4. 30-Day Workmanship Guarantee • Every service includes a 30-day warranty covering workmanship-related issues. • This warranty excludes manufacturer defects, weak walls/floors, or misuse after installation. • Warranty coverage applies only if FixTman is allowed to inspect and resolve the issue. 5. Refund & Service Policy • Once work begins, service fees are non-refundable. • If any issue arises from FixTman’s workmanship, we’ll repair or re-assemble at no charge. • Product replacements or manufacturer defects are not covered. 6. Payment Policy • A 20% deposit is required to schedule your service. • Please do not pay the technician directly — all payments are securely processed through FixTman. • Full payment is due upon completion of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All FixTman technicians are professional and background-checked through our internal FixTman Pro system. They are skilled in TV mounting, furniture assembly, fitness equipment setup, appliance installation, and handyman services, with continuous training in performance and safety. Our team adheres to strict quality standards, ensuring full insurance coverage and verified customer satisfaction on every completed job.
