Trish Nelson Piano Studio
Introduction: Hello! I have recently moved to Woodburn, and I am a fun piano teacher with over 10 years of experience. We'll go over anything, from classical to pop to rock to jazz... you name it. I taught in New Zealand for a year not too long ago, and now that I am settled in Woodburn, I am ready to start teaching again in a more permanent residence.
I am accepting beginners to advanced, ages 5 and up, including adults. I am certified with the Mayron Cole method, but methods used vary from Alfred and Bastien to Leila Fletcher, etc. depending on your learning style.
Recording, singing, and writing may also be involved, but is completely optional. I also like to have fun with technology and bring the iPad out to learn notes and do music games together. Kids love that!

I'm a very rusty, intermediate senior adult student. I am impressed at Trish's knowledge and ability to recognize my strengths and hear my desire to work with chording and some improvisation as wel as note reading. I am so excited to have this chance to work with someone willing to adjust parts of her lesson plans for me and my musical areas of interest and goals.
