The only complaint was we had set up a playlist for the dj but he only played 3 songs off of the playlist. Good other than thatSep 24, 2017VerifiedCyclone Entertainment's reply
Hi Marco, thank you for your review. I really enjoyed DJing for you. I am sorry you feel that way that I didn’t play your songs. I did play more than 3 songs off the playlist and when I was trying to play songs from your playlist, everyone left the dance floor such as the song starstruck. And all star. I was listening to the songs before playing it and songs such as last garrison by enter shikari is definitely not a reception song, and will take people off the floor, it’s all screaming in that song and I think others would tell me the same thing if I asked them. When I see people dancing on the dance floor to a certain type of song I have to stick with that type, not play a song just because you want to hear it because a reception is to dance and have fun, not listen to songs. I also took requests from people. If you did not want me to take requests you should have told me. You also never said anything to me at the time of the reception with regards to me playing all your songs. Also, 4 hours for a reception is cutting it tight trying to get all 70 of your songs in, take requests and do all the dances and dinner time. You didn’t give any songs for the dinner so I played my own songs at that time. The job of the DJ is to get people hopping on the floor, and enjoying themselves. I was approached by some people stating that they love the music and it is in their era, and therefore I feel I fulfilled my duties as a DJ. I thank you again and congrats to both you and Jessica.

Dennis was the best DJ I have ever hired. He was friendly and kept the party going! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ! Thank you Dennis. You made my wedding perfect!Oct 15, 2015
The DJ service was fine. He pales the songs in the order we plugged them in. However, there was no transition from one song to the next. A little MC would have been nice. As long as you just want music to play, he’s fine but I was extremely dissatisfied with his MC abilities!Jul 25, 2018VerifiedCyclone Entertainment's reply
There is always 2 sides to every story, and now I will be telling you mine. First of all the time was different than when I got there. The customer said I would be playing for 4 hours from 5-9, then when I got there I find the ceremony is at 5, and the ceremony ends at 10. I made an accommodation to the customer to play from 5:30 - 9:30, even though I had a club that I DJ in Philly which is 2 hours away. I have a weekly gig there, and a contract with them. I switched the time with the club to accommodate the customer and play later and stay later. When communicating with the customer, she said all I need to do is some quick announcements and play music the rest of the time, nothing fancy, this is her exact words. Everyone was dancing, and the music was blasting, no way I could have spoke on the mic and people hear me with the music blasting. I have videos and photos of everyone having a great time. What's a good DJ you may ask? Well, one that is accommodating and one that gets the entire room up on the dance floor in which I did. And it was said no transition from one song to the next? A transition is 8 bpm's in and out, music never stopped playing, all music flowed from one song to the next and I also got every request made by the guests, none was denied, and everyone enjoyed themselves. You can't please everyone!!!
DJ Danny is super nice and professional. He responds very quickly and keeps lines of communication open at all times. The issue have is that i had given him a playlist of songs and i made him aware that he was playing for a 2 year old bday party. Dj Danny downloaded the explicit songs and told me that i should have informed him to do the clean versions. I think its pretty much common sense that clean music would be played at a kids party. Also, he did not do any mixing at all he played the entire songs. I could have saved hundreds of dollars and brought a speaker to play music from my phone.May 6, 2018Verified
