I highly recommend Sedgewick Land and Limb! My family has been using Sedgewick for many years. From home repairs to property maintenance, Ben and Beth were there to get it all done for us. I just purchased a new home and it needed quite a bit of TLC. Ben and Beth gave an estimate and coordinated the work needed: Yard maintenance: - Aligning the draining pipe from gutter to the ground pipe and preventing debris from falling in; - Tree removal (4); - Concrete leveling - raising slabs to even the walkway path; - Retaining wall stabilization; Plumbing: - Replace shower head; Home repairs: - Installation of wall brackets for photos, souvenirs, televisions, and shelves; - Attic work - clearing away old insulation and fixing that squeak; - Refinishing the hardwood floors (and removal of the old carpet) - Fixing the lintel above the garage - removal of the rotting wood and wasp nest (we took care of the wasps and Ben and Beth took care of the lintel). As always, they showed up when they said they would and gave notice asap when they couldn’t. They kept me informed through every process and stayed until the job was done. Ben even came back bright and early the next day to finish up an unexpected issue with the plumbing. Gives how advanced modern technology is, Ben had a lot of work-arounds to solve at this old house and did them very well! I’ve had no problems and he hasn’t needed to come back to fix anything. There was no rush to get any of the work done, but Ben and Beth worked all of our requests into their schedule and allocated full days of time to work though each project, one at a time, and to the best of their resources. Given our longstanding relationship with this company, I’ve been able to trust the work to be done while away at work and don’t have to be present at all times or to supervise. I also feel that the pricing is fair for the quality of work performed. This team dedicates a lot of time and quality to their projects and it really reflects in the final reveal.

Being outside unlocks so many health benefits. We feel everyone deserves an outdoor space to relax, unwind, or spend time with friends and family. We can work with any budget to make this dream a reality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We leverage technology to take the work out of dealing with Home Exterior Designs and Services. When working on building something new, we consult with you to bring your vision and needs to life, review and agree on a design, and keep you apprised of our progress and overall project timeline. For services, we can take care of everything and communicate recurring appointments on your own personal client hub to make changes, request new service, or message us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continuous students - and invest in all team members to allow our staff to pursue their passion. We love our work and partner with a number of organizations in our trades, such as the National Association of Landscape Professionals, Tree Care Industry Association, Concrete Masonry & Hardscape Association. As an example of our commitment, right now, we have three seasoned tree experts obtaining their ISA Arborist Certifications and two members obtaining their Sustainable Landcare Certification. We also have staff with a variety of educational backgrounds that align with our work and trades.
