We are a husband and wife team with over 30 years of combined experience between us. We absolutely love what we do and feel the food at your event should be just as memorable as every other aspect! We will work with you to ensure your menu is seasonally inspired and everything you imagined it would be. Our staff is personable, professional and diligent. Because of our expertise and excellent service, over the past 5 years we have become preferred vendors at several event venues. I had Bad Mother Shuckers cater my fiancé’s 40th birthday party. The spread was amazing! Not only did they put together a huge and impeccable raw bar, they had delicious apps, perfectly cooked mains, and a friendly and hard-working staff. We loved them so much that we are hiring them again, this time for our wedding!

I have used Bad Mother Shuckers as caterers for a golf outing on several occasions. The food was amazing. Working with Collette and Zack was a pleasure. We have also hired them to come for a neighborhood event, where they parked Pearl in the park and served dinner. I can't recommend them enough for any of your catering needs.

We booked Bad Mother Shuckers for our wedding and I'll definitely book them again. I wish the Thumbtack site would allow me to choose all 5 selections for grading my time with them, because overall BMS is an excellent value and their dedicated work quality did not go unnoticed.
The food was SO delicious and the guests enjoyed all the different selections that were offered. The staff were awesome and VERY helpful and Collette & Zack were so easy to work with the entire time. They made our special day much less stressful with their ease, reliability, and constant communication.

- Braised pork belly with white bean mousse
- Oysters on the halfshell
- Pickle Bar (people LOVED those pickled strawberries and blueberries) And it paired so well with the cheese board
- Smoked carrot steak with ratatouille (my personal favorite)
- Beignet tower
- Chicken with bacon/maple jam
- Smoked tuna crostini with sweet pepper relish (my husband's personal favorite)
