As an ACE certified personal trainer with a BA in Psychology, MS in Exercise Science and designated NASM Performance Enhancement specialist, she teaches Ashtanga yoga with attention toward the refinement and mastery of the body, mind and spirit. Her credentials and extensive experience in Ashtanga yoga, 12-step recovery, personal training, Thai massage, reflexology and aromatherapy set the groundwork which uniquely qualify her to help free clients from whatever holds them back to realize their personal best. Nancy believes that having a consistent yoga practice fosters joy and vitality to illuminate one's individual strengths and weaknesses on both physical and mental levels. When practiced mindfully with breath, the body becomes organized from the inside out. This awareness builds confidence and improves self efficacy. Once the mind is calm, then clarity of thought and subsequent action can be achieved to make good decisions both on and off the mat.
