What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most cases the customer does not have an idea of the cost to develop their project and what is involved. We start with a free discovery consultation. If needed we will sign a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) agreement. This discovery meeting is normally done by phone or Zoom call. This will give an idea of what is needed. Then depending on the call we may be developing a wire frame (blue print) or proto-type to bid on or giving you some website themes picked out. In all cases we create and outline of the overall project and will provide you with a quote. We will give an estimate with a fixed price for certain number hours we believe it will take from our over 30 year of experience. If the project goes out of scope we will tell you in writing before doing the extra work is started and the price to complete it. If there is out scope issues we will bill you at the hourly rate we estimate. Our rates range from $55.00 to $125.00 per hour depending on what is needed and how big the project is. Depending on the size project we may offer better the rates. Installment plans may be available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do for a new customer is learn more about their project. This is normally free and it takes about 1 hour ago. After learning about the project depending on what type website, database, software development we will give you an estimate quote and if it's a Website project we will include some theme design to review. If is more custom software we will discuss developing a wireframe (blue print) and specs first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 30 years experience in software development. Depending on the environment that we are working in we can provide training material. For example;. If it's WordPress we provide links to videos to teach the client. Most other environment we offer Zoom or Skype and share are screen to show how to do things.
