- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Regular sessions are $175 for 1 hour and 15 edited digital images. Newborn sessions are $250 for a 2 hour session with 15 edited digital images. These can include family and sibling with the newborn. I also have a Belly to Baby package that includes maternity and newborn for only $350, saving you $75 off purchasing separately. Another package is a Watch Me Grow that includes newborn, 4 month, 8 month and 1 year for only $650. Add on a maternity session for just $100 to Watch Me Grow package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact me if you are interested in a session. We can decide on a time and all I need is a $50 deposit to confirm your time. The balance is due at the session. After the session you will receive a proofing gallery to choose your images. After you choose, it takes me 2 weeks to edit and return processed images to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with several renowned photographers to learn their maternity and newborn techniques, including the very important newborn safety it requires to do some of the poses you see. Many, like the hanging basket poses, are composite and baby is not really hung in the air. I have been trained how to get these beautiful images for you while keeping baby completely safe. Safety is the number 1 priority for me in newborn photography. I continue my education with in person and online courses to stay up to date. I believe education is always an ongoing process.
