I tried Thumbtack for the first time yesterday, and put out a request for plumbing help. Even though it wasn't an emergency, I still wanted it done that same day, if possible. Longacre replied pretty fast and even got me on the schedule for same day! When they gave me a time window, I asked for more specific times because of meetings, and they even accommodated that request too! The tech arrived, quickly assessed the situation with the clogged drain and got it taken care of quickly also. Very good and very knowledgeable. Would be happy to call them again when needed.

I was happy with Kirk, the plumbing professional who did our job. Very courteous and friendly person and was able to give us estimates. I did feel the prices were above average for some jobs, but to be fair, I was able to choose what I needed him to do and what not. Thanks for that transparency. Overall, it was a good experience.

Thumbtack asks for up to 3 items to rate the company on: Work quality, punctuality, value, professionalism and responsiveness. I would have selected all 5 categories if Thumbtack allowed. I was looking for work to be done with a quick turn around without the outrageous price tag. The day I called Longacre, an electrician was on site the same day to give me an estimate. We scheduled quickly and within days my project was complete. We had 3 kitchen pendant lights and a chandelier that needed replacing in our formal dining room as well as adding dimmers to both the kitchen and dining room. Victor and his counterpart came in and out quickly with a job well done. Absolutely would use them again for future projects.
