I have been doing wedding hairstyling for 18 years now. I stay up to date on the latest styles with updo classes. I am certified in airbrush make up using temptu products. which leaves a flawless finish. I am definitely a people person my clients tell me I am easy to talk to ,down to earth and patient . Tanya exceeded all of my expectations and dreams. She drove from over half hour away just to do my hair and was on time, friendly and gave me the wedding hair of my dreams. I was nervous the style I chose wouldn’t look good on me but I was over the moon after viewing the results. She did all of this in under 45 minutes and it was honestly so fantastic. I’d hire her anytime!

If you are reading this review to decide weather or not to book Event Hair &Makeup you should stop reading now and go book them before someone else does! I truly could not have been more pleased with the service we received. Tanya was the first vender to respond to my request for on location hair and make up quotes. Her rates were on the low end for what we were asking for. (This scared me a bit because you often get what you pay for.) She promptly returned my call when I decided to try out her services. When discussing details for a trail hair and makeup session, I discovered she was nearly 2 hours away from my home and yet she did not hesitate to accommodate us. She called to confirm time and location the day before the trail session and arrived on schedule. She was prepared and professional as she listened to what "Becca" (the bride) was envisioning for her look. We quickly became confident in her skills. Becca LOVED the look Tanya created and told me later she felt beautiful. Even after the long drive and time she had already spent on Becca, Tanya agreed to also give me a hair cut to update my look. The day before the wedding again, Tanya called to confirm the time and location. On the day of the wedding when we arrived at the venue Tanya and her assistant Nellie were already there and set up ready to start. They both worked for hours on hair for the bride,maid of honor,bridesmaid,mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. Also, without any complaint they did hair for the brides sister-in-law as a least minute add on. They did undos, long curls, braids,half up half down and even added hair acsessories. We were ALL very pleased with the results! Tanya did all the makeup and her skills are amazing. I need to mention here that the bride is a redhead with very pale skin tone and one of the bridesmaids was Asian with carmel skin tone, and I have old lady skin. Tanya was able to flawlessly match and blend the right foundation to each of our very different skin tones and the results looked so natural. As a make up artist Tanya treated each face as an individual canvas and give us fresh glamour without caking on the makeup. We again were ALL beyond pleased with the results. If the skills, great price and professionalism that Event hair and Makeup team brings to an event is not enough, Tanya's personality was always light and fun and had a way of making us relax, enjoy and forget about the stress of the wedding ceremony. In my opinion, Event Hair and Makeup demonstrated professionalism and outstanding skills . Tanya is an amazing makeup artist and Tanya and Nellie are both gifted in achieving a wide range of hair styles. I will not hesitate to book them again for our next event. I feel confident in recommending them.
