Introduction

Where I currently live there are a few designers who have been designing things for many years, but I've noticed the same thing about them all. They've gotten lazy, they have found ways to do what they do quicker. So basically they all work on the "Quantity over Quality" motto. I'm completely opposed to this. I believe in giving people options that they themselves never even thought of. I don't just sit there pull up a bunch of shapes and colors and tell the client to "Pick which one you like." I fall back on the old school montra, "Treat Them Like How You Want To Be Treated." With this, I never fail at what I do. Being able to put together something for a client, and watching their face light up as they see the end result. It's usually an Awesome Feeling.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices range from $20-$25 per hour for designing. Most designs will have a basic charge of about $75 - $100. It will only cost more if the design becomes complicated, and there are a lot of changes made to it.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I needed a job that was going to help me be more independent. I found the Production Artist position, and basically went in, and made it work. At the time I knew very little if anything at all, about the work I was doing. But as I worked I began to enjoy my work. I soon became very diligent in my work, and have enjoyed it since.

Just Sr. Lead Production Artist.
