We had a large rewiring and relighting project in the basement and garage of our 1932 tudor home. We got bids from 3 other contractors, but as soon as we met Glen knew he was the one.Glen is the consummate professional with a can-do attitude and assurance the end product would be up to code, with the utmost quality. It was obvious during our initial our walk through he knew what he was talking about and the size and complexity of the job did not scare him off.From his initial assessment, alternative options/estimates, and his successful project management to delivery on budget despite, encountering several old house wiring quirks; its clear hes had lot of experience doing this kind of work.What amazed us most: No open slots in 200 Amp 40 circuit breaker box. Glen created 2 new 20 Amp dedicated circuits basement & garage balancing loads across several existing merged circuits in the box. And the basement lighting, to pardon a pun, its like night and day, truly.He is definitely not your "typical" contractor that tries to rush through the job just to finish & get paid. I always knew when he was coming, what he was doing, when he had a question/need me, and when he was leaving. He is an EXCELLENT communicator. He even brought his own garbage pail and cleaned up at the end of each day.Everything he did was done the way it should be and he truly cares how everything looks, which is a big plus.We would, without hesitation, refer him to family, friends, acquaintances, and Google review readers, like you.

I highly recommend Glen! He did a number of electrical projects for us over the course of about a year and we were extremely satisfied with his attention to detail, thoroughness, reliability, and knowledge. His rates are reasonable and he's also just a really great person all around. To top it all off, Brightwood Solutions is veteran-owned which we very pleased to work with. If you're looking for high-quality electrical work at a reasonable rate I would recommend Brightwood Solutions, hands-down!

Glen showed up on time and was very professional, converting lighting fixtures from ballast powered florescent lights to modern LED lighting in several fixtures in our new house. He also installed a stainless steel chimney liner in an extremely efficient manner in preparation for a wood stove. I highly recommend his services, he is professional, courteous, and does jobs correctly. I like that he also took time to explain what he was doing and why.
