Introduction: My shows are customized for the age group and the occasion. For children, I have many different shows depending on age of the children, location and occasion. All my children shows include 'giveaways' such as a themed magicians assistants certificate and an age appropriate magic trick. The shows are fun, entertaining and very interactive. I can also provide balloon animals for the children. For adults, I perform close-up strolling magic, stage and parlor magic. All involve fun, comedy and are very interactive. If there is a guest of honor, I make them the star of the show. I also include a few mentalism effects which are done in a fun, entertaining manner. I love to see the joy and fun I bring to children and adults in my performances.

Lou was amazing today at the Woodland String Band’s Childrens Xmas Party. I loved seeing the expressions on the kids faces as they were mesmerized. Lou kept their attention throughout the show and even us older members too. He was funny, and very very entertaining. I would highly recommend Mr Lou for your child’s next party or if any Mummers groups looking for a great magician for their next holiday party please consider Mr Lou!

Mr. Lou was a great success! We hired Mr. Lou to entertain at a party for 15 children aged 3 through 7. Mr. Lou knows his audience. He kept them engaged, involved, and had them laughing the entire time. It was quite the achievement for this age group. The adults found him entertaining as well. Mr. Lou was very prompt, professional and put the children at ease. He also knew how to keep their attention, easily reining them in when their attention wandered. He even made balloon animals for every child. Mr. Lou was easy to work with, and made this a seamless transaction. It was gratifying to hear some of the kids say "greatest party ever!"

Mr. Lou was simply awesome! He kept the kids engaged and excited for the whole time and I haven’t seen 20 kids so attentive like that 🙂 Mr. Lou is a nice and kind person who is great at his magic tricks- the funny thing us that I being an adult found myself consumed by the magic show- it was great!

Lou was a hit at my sons 8th birthday party. He kept the kids entertained and laughing. My son is really into magicians and he was very excited to have a real magician in the house. He loved the roll up magic wand and was showing it off for days after.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing for children's parties is based on the number of children attending, the age range and the length of the show. For adult functions, the pricing is based on the type of show - stage, parlor or close-up strolling magic.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we agree on price, date and time, I send a letter/email confirming everything we discussed. The other item I ask of the customer is a final count of the number attending the function. I need this info a few days before the function and helps me bring the correct amount of "giveaways", if any.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Society of American Magicians and attend the Magicians Alliance of Eastern States Magic Convention every year. I also subscribe to three monthly magic magazines which keeps me up to date on magic happenings as well as the latest magical effects.
