I engaged Cambay to help me optimize the finances for my wife's flower store. We tracked everything manually, and with COVID-19 our business was shut down for over 12 weeks. Cambay swooped in and for starters digitized everything (receipts, our vendor invoices and payroll) . After that Has diligently and spent a week across multiple video meetings “understanding the business”. We discussed revenue, expenses, cost of sales, marketing and even some legal stuff (thanks for the referral to Jeff!). We decided on two objectives we wanted accomplished for her business- (a) track our costs in Excel and (b) help us plan for recovery. Cambay was instrumental in developing a 13-week cash flow for us which shows us how much profit we have weekly, and how we can plan our costs based on our revenue. Cambay works with customers to solve the problem that needs to be fixed vs. trying to solve all the problems one swoop. They understand the small business owner pain and seek to add value. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally charge one flat rate, but can charge by the hour for a complete job assuming that reasonable maximums are established before commencing the project. We keep our costs down by scheduling virtual meetings using Google, Zoom and other confererencing tools. You always pay less because we optimize our pricing by project so you pay less and save more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by building a basic understanding of your business, your customers and your goals/expectations. Once we are on the same page, we develop a proposal that you evaluate and decide what services you like to sign up for. Once we have an agreed upon statement of work and payment terms are established, we start work on your project(s).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licenced CPA in the State of PA. I have 10+ years of Corporate America work experience from start-ups to Fortune 10 companies. I have professional development certifications from major US educational institutions (Harvard, UPENN, Columbia etc)
