Introduction: I am a student at Bryn Mawr College. have had a great deal of experience caring for dogs and cats. At home, I have 2 elderly English Springer Spaniels and one cat. I have also cared for a variety of animals around my neighborhood such as a blind dog, a golden retriever and two cats. I usually visit dogs 3-4 times a day to give them attention, food and water and I walk them 2-3 times a day. For cats, I visit them 1-2 times a day to feed them and give them attention.
I love meeting new pets and animals and looking after them so just hanging around new pets and caring for them makes me happy.

Jocelyn was a very responsible pet sitter. She looked after my 3 cats last week. When she came to our house to go over everything, I appreciated that she asked many clarifying questions. She gave us the option of sending photos of our cats to us, and she sent pictures and updates daily without fail. When I came back all 3 were happy and healthy and our house was just as we left it. I am happy with the work that she did and I would happily recommend her to anyone searching for a pet sitter.

Jocelyn was hired to take care of our 2 cats and house sit while we were on vacation.
She was not communicative, when I would try to get updates on our cats, one has chronic renal disease.
Before we left for vacation, I showed her where everything was in the house, and went through the cats feeding, medication and litter box changing needs in detail.
I then followed up with a very detailed email regarding every aspect of the cats care, where things were, etc..
When we returned home after our 2 week vacation, we immediately smelled cat urine.
I went to the cats litter boxes and they were saturated with urine.
When my husband called Jocelyn to ask her what had happened. Her response was she did not know that we wanted the urine scooped out, but, that she had cleaned the feces.
She really had no answer for her behavior. Her response, or lack of response was bizzare. Consequently, we found the poor cats had urinated outside their litter boxes, and the clean up and repair will be costly.
The cats appeared to have received their food and water, and she says that she gave our sick cat her daily medication, bit, after this, it was difficult to trust her judgement and we consulted our vet.
Fortunately, our cats are ok.
She also had someone stay over and had them sleep in our bed and use our personal things.
I spent most of the next 2 days cleaning.
It was a very difficult way to come back from vacation.
She did bring in mail and newspapers, as we had asked.
I cannot, in any way, recommend Jocelyn to take care of anyone's pets.
