Josie provided me with an incredible experience! As the stepmother of the bride, I didn't want to burden the make up artist scheduled to do the bridal party with an extra person.
I found Josie on line, she came with high reviews and great recommendations. I reached out to her and she immediately returned my text. Prior to the event, I had several questions and she was always very quick to respond. Josie met me in my hotel room. She brought a complete array of skin care and makeup products and also a makeup chair and professional lighting! She made me feel very comfortable and was such a joy to work with! She even helped me get dressed. The results were very professional and exactly what I was hoping for. As promised, the makeup lasted throughout the evening, no touch ups needed. When my husband and son saw the finished look all they said was "Wow, you look amazing"!

Josie was great to work with. She traveled a pretty large distance to come to my home for a trial and come for my wedding. Since I rarely wear makeup, I requested something light. She did everything to accommodate my requests and if I didn't like anything, she was sure to fix it. If I ever require makeup services again, she'll be first on my list to contact! (Haven't got my professional pictures yet, so the attached picture doesn't give justice, but she did a great job!)

I couldn't recommend Josie enough. She was always very responsive and has such a positive energy. I felt very relaxed and beautiful on my wedding day because she did such a wonderful job on everyone. I don't wear makeup often, but Josie was awesome about explaining everything she was doing and answered questions that my bridesmaids had about makeup in general. One of my bridesmaids did tear up after she saw her makeup! Josie is really skilled at what she does and she's such a genuinely lovely person to be around, I couldn't recommend anyone better!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based reasonably on the market area. I also consider travel time and gas as an expense. I also based my pricing on the fact that I use very high-end cosmetic products such as Lancome, Stila, Urban Decay, Huda Beauty and Clinique.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first initial contact is here through thumbtack or my website and to put the customer more at ease with who I am I offer my background and experience that I have in cosmetics. I always offer a meeting over coffee and/or a trial. Getting the customer to feel comfortable with me is always my first goal and I always enjoy building relationships with my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had over 20 years experience in cosmetic sales. All of my education has been paid for through high-end Prestige branding of cosmetics in the retail industry.
