- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes - specifically industry-standard certifications like the CompTIA or Cisco series are very powerful tools for recruitment and advancement while working in the field as an employee. I've completed certifications for Network+ and Security+ in addition to Microsoft SharePoint and ITIL, and I plan to continue to maintain my industry relevance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was pretty much born into it - most aspects of technology have fascinate me since I was young. I believe I'm one of the lucky techs out there who wound up being able to turn one of their favorite obsessions/hobbies into a way to earn a living.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly do PC tech support and repair, but I've also worked on repairing mobile devices.
