This was the best experience ever. John Craig was extremely knowledgeable about taxes. I had gone to H&R Block a week earlier and my financial advisor informed me that they didn't fill my tax forms out correctly. Thank goodness I hadn't payed them yet. That's when I searched Google for a tax preparer and found thumbtack, and that lead me to john Craig. Please do not hesitate in having him do your taxes. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultations are free. I charge per form on the Tax End of things. For Bookkeeping I don't like to charge Hourly, so on the opening consultation I evaluate the work involved and work based on that for a flat fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat with a client and set up a time to meet. From there we discuss their basic needs and agree on a price. From there I tell them what I need from them, we begin the work. This is done with Taxes, Bookkeeping, Financial Services, Payroll.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate from Robert Morris University in 2009 in Accounting Certified Bookkeeper from Universal Accounting
