I have been in the music field for a long time. I accept students age 6-80 and all levels. Many of my students are adults. I love watching my students learn. While teaching private lessons I have been the church organist and choir director. It is important to me that students are making progress with their lessons. Therefore, I do not mind re-scheduling when they have a conflict to keep them regular in attendance. I offer the first lesson "FREE". Background check complete. I like my job because I can play the instrument well and teaching allows me to see someone else learning to play the instrument. I get to see people satisfied in doing something they enjoy doing.

Mrs Mikesell is the perfect combination of sweet and no nonsense. My son is incredibly intelligent and absolutely LOVES Mrs Mikesell. She is certainly cultivating a love of piano in his young mind. Her lessons are very affordable and well worth it! Thank you Mrs Mikesell!

Mrs Mikesell is an excellent piano teacher! She is very kind, very organized. She encourages Anthony - my eight-years-old sone to read and play the music. then she points out the mistake when it is necessary. Anthony enjoys her lesson very much!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I allow students to miss 2 lessons a year without charge. Then the missed lesson fee is $10.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I chose my profession because of my love for music and wanting to give that to others.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be advised that not all teachers have the same concerns for their students. Just because a person plays a little piano does not make him a teacher.
