Moving is a stressful time; as such, it requires more then just loading items up and unloading them into a house. At Make Moves we take the time to take your old home and try to replicate it as best as possible in your new location. Whether this is disassembling or reassembling your items, or helping our customers arrange their new location. Our job isn't finished until you are completely satisfied with your experience. In addition, our customers direct contact with the owners places them at easy, knowing that our strict quality control standards are meticulously maintained. Helping our customers to find that "new beginning." Whether they are relocating to another part of the country, or moving across town. Moving provides new landscapes and opportunities to explore different areas of the city. I enjoy removing the stress of this process and allowing our customers to focus on the positives of their relocation. Also the workout!

I recently moved apartments in the Mt Washington Area. Make Moves LLC was first to reach out to me after I put in a request on Thumbtack.com. They were able to fit me into their schedule in between jobs on a day that worked best for me, which was fantastic. The job took a little over 2.5 hours. They had quoted me up front for the items I needed moved and time frame they suggested then honored that price in the end even though we ended up running over. I was impressed with the quality of the care taken with my items and how quickly they were in and out. They were able to completed disassemble and reassemble my bed, dinning room table, and bigger items. They even provided their own truck, tools and blankets to cover fragile items in the truck. I will be recommending Matt to others and in the future if I need to move, I know who to reach out to. Keep up the good work! Thanks again.

Matt and his team were very professional and helpful. They called before they started for our place. We unfortunately had to make the move on a weekend as they were unavailable for our weekday move, which would have been at lower rates. It was a difficult move which we did not fully realise until we had some heavy furniture items in our old house that needed to be moved down a narrow staircase. However, it was at the new house that we really faced issues - our refrigerator would not fit! We really appreciate the 2 hour effort that Matt and his team put in to make sure our refrigerator was in its rightful place in the kitchen. Although the price was a bit high after the additional hours (we started at 10am and finished by 7pm!), at the end of the day it was well worth it. They made a difficult move a lot better and made sure all our items were in their rightful place.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly staying up to date on our industry. Doing market research, asking our customers how we can better meet their needs. We understand that our continued growth is directly correlated to how well we provide service to our customers. As a result of this, we do everything we can to continually get better and improve. Also, we try and maintain workout regimens to make sure we are fit and able to provide the labor our profession requires.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Lately we have been doing more and more full service moves for our clients. This includes packing, loading/unloading, and providing carpet cleaning. This turnkey solution really removes a lot of stress for our customers, and prevents them from having to use multiple companies to service their needs. In addition we have recently started up two continuous cleaning contracts, which we are very excited about!
