- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FreshStart Mold Solutions provides honest, straightforward pricing based on the size of the affected area, the severity of the contamination, accessibility, and the scope of work required to properly address the issue. Every project is different, so we take the time to evaluate each situation carefully rather than using one-size-fits-all pricing. Our estimates are detailed, transparent, and designed to reflect doing the job correctly, not cutting corners. We communicate clearly throughout the process, and if any unexpected conditions are discovered, we discuss them with the customer before moving forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At FreshStart Mold Solutions, we start by listening to the customer’s concerns and gathering information about the issue they’re experiencing. We then schedule an on-site evaluation to inspect the affected area, identify moisture or mold-related concerns, and discuss the best course of action. After the inspection, we provide a clear explanation of our findings along with a detailed estimate outlining the recommended scope of work. Once approved, we schedule the project and complete the remediation using professional containment, cleaning, and treatment methods while maintaining clean and respectful work practices throughout the process. Our goal is to communicate clearly, do the job correctly, and help restore a healthier environment for the homeowner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While Pennsylvania does not currently require mold remediation contractors to hold a state certification or license, I believe it is extremely important to have proper education and training in this field. Mold and moisture issues affect the health and safety of a home, and they should be handled with professionalism, knowledge, and care. To ensure we are following proper industry practices and standards, I completed certification through the Professional Mold Inspection Institute (PMII). I have invested time into learning proper remediation methods, containment procedures, cleaning practices, and moisture-control principles so our customers can feel confident the work is being handled correctly. At FreshStart Mold Solutions, we take this work seriously and focus on doing the job the right way, not just the fastest way.
