- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently installed hardwood on a large staircase. The treads were delivered and there was a manufacturing error. Instead of sending them back and delay the job, I was able to re-work the treads and fix the manufactures error. The customer was happy that there was no delay in work. The stair case turned out beautiful. Everybody was happy in the end!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check them out. Do they have insurance and how long have they been in business. You want someone who has experience in the job he or she is performing. How well will they work themselves out of a potential problem with the job. A contractor or who does not have the experience will fail on the job and the end result will show it.
