Basement Waterproofing were not the only estimate we got and not the cheapest, but based on reviews and our previous contact at a home improvement show, we wanted to use them. While we have only had one basement waterproofed, this was the best. The initial assessment was very informative and comparative in different processes. They walked tge property and asked our expectations and made recommendations. Intially estimated to take up to three days but they were done in one day 0700-1500. The next day a hurricane came through central Pennsylvania and our family was doing our standard basement flood watch because the concrete hadn't fully dried and cured yet. It's been 18 months and we haven't had a drop or hint of moisture since. Everyone on the team was polite, courteous and respectful. Definitely recommend this company for you to end your stress everytime it rains or gets cloudy.

Excellent customer service and did a great job waterproofing our basement!Went above and beyond by coming back out to touch up an area of the basement floor that we had gotten ceiling paint on and they left some extra basement floor paint for future touch up work.

This is my second review for Basement Waterproofing Specialists and I can't be happier.After a number of decent storms my basement is still dry(we used to have a small trickle running across the floor, I called the basement "a river runs through it") Thank you, for the first time in 25 years my floor is dry.I thank You every time I go in my Basement !

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very, very simple. In fact what separates us from other companies is that we will never try to sell you more than you need. From what we hear we are the only company that will conservatively price projects and I think that's a big reason why we win so many jobs over our competition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Everyday in everyway we can. We are actually confident that we are the cutting edge itself. For example, we invented 404 Stainless Steel Plate foundation repair. To this day no other company utilizes this method. It's amazing because it truly is the best way.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs we perform are actually uncommon within our industry. The reason we say this is because we've developed a business model that places the most capable crews on some of the largest jobs consecutively. Meaning, typically several large jobs commence a day, every day. This is quite different from the majority of our competitors whom would spend much more time on a job due to their lack of man power for example. So, a common type of job would be a large job. This means approximately 100 feet of system. By that we mean 100ft of our level-7 PVC pipe with eco filter (a sock like material that serves as an extra screen for the perforated PVC pipe, on a (base) rested in clean or B2 stone and topped with poured concrete and what's called Miradrain (a plastic that protrudes from the cove (where the floor meets the wall) to direct water from what's referred to as 'weep holes' (purposely placed holes to relieve hydrostatic pressure from the wall) tied to a sump pump and discharge line. Another important service to mention that often ties in with water prevention is mold remediation. This is because if you have mold, the mold if feeding off of the moisture so waterproofing essentially is the prevention that becomes cure. The remaining mold we eliminate altogether with a multitude of tactics.
