FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quoted fee includes a detailed interior/exterior viewing of your house. Understanding all features of the home is crucial to an accurate estimate of value. I will also conduct extensive research of market data in this area. This will help me to understand how your home may be viewed by potential buyers. Analysis and conclusions of my research will be presented to you in written format that includes exhibits needed to help you understand the valuation process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During your initial consultation I will determine what your appraisal needs are, along with the type of property being appraised. With that information, I will assemble what is known as the Scope Of Work. This will outline the intended use and users of the final appraisal report, along with steps that will be taken to develop a credible opinion of value for the property.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed/certified residential real estate appraiser since 1993. To stay current within my profession, I have completed approximately 750 hours of accredited continuing education courses.
