Jacob, my GarageDoor technician came to my residence to replace my torsion. Springshe was very thorough. He gave me several options on the way to proceed One of the options was the bearing and metal plates on each side of the garagedoor. He told me they were in fair and working condition. Jacob emphasized that they don’t have to be replaced, they are in good working condition, but by replacing those two items it would be a lot quieter there would be less play in the bar and it would stop the wobble. I decided to go with that option with new torsion Springs. After the springs were installed with the new plates and bearings The door was definitely more quiet! Also the pole that goes across the length of the garage which wobbled when the door was going up and down turns very smoothly with no wobble. If you choose this company to go with request Jacob you’ll be happy you did ! Also, I wanna mention that the customer service was very helpful setting up an appointment and the time they gave me was right on time!
