- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Home inspection pricing starts at $325.00. Pricing increases as the size of the home increases. The Thumbtack app is pre-loaded with price estimates relative to square footage. In some cases, older homes will have an added cost. *Extra charge for multi-unit homes. Mileage may apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with new customers by involving them in the home inspection to identify and discuss any issues to provide information for negotiating their best deal and whether or not to buy the home. I find that this process gives the client real value and the best home inspection at one of the most competitive prices in Western Pennsylvania.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My recent training, continuing education training, and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) certification was through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®). A 300 hour home inspection training course by AHIT was completed and passed for extra specific home inspection knowledge. Prior to obtaining my home inspection certification, I acquired a Metallurgical Engineering degree and worked in industry where I performed QC inspections of construction activities, QA audits, wrote specifications, developed inspection programs, coordinated inspection programs, trained welders, and maintained QC programs.
