(Ok, I am off of the crutches and walking again. Hooray! I still have a hitch in my giddy up ,however, so I am not taking on dog walking at this time. I can still go and let your dog out in the yard and play with him , but walking
is tough for me for now). I have loved animals all of my life and cannot imagine life without them in it. As a retired pre-school teacher, this was the natural path to take. I have been pet siting and dog walking for years on a part time basis, but, now I can devote my life to being with my furry friends. I have experience with medicating, giving fluids and special needs. Just tell me what you need and I will try to be of assistance. I am based in the KENNEDY TWP, (CORAOPOLIS) area , but I have an additional sitter based in Cranberry.
I do dog (walking) Limited dog walking due to knee issue.(See first paragraph) in the Kennedy , Coraopolis, Stowe twp., Moon, North Hills area and Cranberry twp. is covered by my sister.
I do cat sitting in a more expanded area if it is one visit per day. I do not do the South Hills area due to traffic and time. But , I will got to the McCandless and more.
I do watch dogs in my home. One at a time, or one dog family at a time. The must tolerate cats however. I generally charge $65.00 per night for one dog and for two , I would charge $75.00 total per night. They become part of my family. On the couch with me and my husband. I sleep with them on the couch as well. No crates unless you want that.
Dog walks are $20.00 per walk , but I am not taking on dog walking right now. Cat visits are $20.00 per visit for one cat( add $2.00 per cat extra) Group rates are sometimes reduced. I do not board cats. since it upsets the household and my own cats.
Please book me only if you are serious. Once I give you those dates, I close off dates to others.
This is a serious business with insurance and bonding and I take my obligation to you very seriously. I just ask the same in return.
Being with animals of all kinds is definitely my happy place. I understand them and I think they understand me and know how much I care.

We were a little apprehensive about having someone we don’t know look after our 3 cats, but we were in a pinch and Sandy had great reviews! She came out to our house to meet us and our fur balls before we left which instantly put as at ease. Sandy showed up at roughly the same time each day we had asked her to stop in. She did a great job taking care of them! Highly, highly recommend!!

Sandy did an awesome job taking care of our two Golden's for us recently. She was extremely responsive in communication. She came over to meet our boys and us and discussed her services. She's one of those people you meet and instantly know they are a good person. Even better, and maybe most important, the dogs loved her.
We hired Sandy to let the boys out mid day and give our oldest his medication. She came when she said she would and even brought in packages that were delivered.
Sandy did an awesome job and we will continue to work with her. I highly recommend you give her a try.

I cannot rave about sandy enough! She took amazing care of pumpkin, my calico, while I was on vacation. She came over beforehand to meet her and learn about her diet and even noticed how she likes to play. She even sent me pics to assure me pumpkin was one happy kitty! Wish I could give sandy more stars
