We hired DCP to level and resurface our patio and fascia. He made the leveling worse, did a horrible job resurfacing (uneven with ridges and several colors), and then did not finish the fascia at after poor communication and several weeks of excuses. Finally, we agreed on a refund for the job which then he refused to give. Check the better business bureau before hiring him. If I could give him 0 stars I would.

This customer is not being honest. In their complaint, they fail to mention that the CONTRACT they agreed to has an allowance for a redo if service does not meet standards. They also fail to mention that we have offered this at no cost. We have also offered to prioritize their job. DCP wishes to maintain the highest standards possible. We offer the highest quality materials available, many of which are DOT and Army Corps of Engineers approved. Regarding finishing the job, the customer would not allow it. Unfortunately, this customer leaves us no option but to seek legal redress for willful and maliciously liable, intent to harm business, and fraudulently representing our conversations.

My Front Porch needed restored, the block that held up the concrete slab were deteriorating and falling apart, as well as the concrete slab on top had cracks and the corners were falling off. He was able to restore everything i needed. The Corners couldn't be rebuild totally, but they are structurally much much better and the block was filled and full patch over the whole front and side of the block. The areas where the railing was removed weren't cut level or patched, so i will need to do some work on that as it is a bit of an eye sore.

Generally, because every situation is different. Prices vary. However, for a small job, my minimum base price is either $95.00 per hour, or $450 per job. If it's a large job, it could range from $2 per square foot, up to $10.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction, evaluation, and education.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sadly, in our field, there are no such courses. However, that doesn't mean I can't keep learning. I am always looking for someone who has something to teach.
