Quite simply I LOVE everything food related. Finding that perfectly marbled cut of beef, or beautiful juicy tomato, or giant bright red raspberries. Roasting a spice mix to coax out every subtle flavor. Creating perfectly creamy risotto, silky pasta dough, and rich fudgey chocolate cake for my Black Forest Trifle. I love the social component of what I do. Some of my favorite engagements are cooking lessons, foodie parties and special dinners for 2. These types of events allow me to get to know who I am cooking for and, quite honestly, it doesn't feel like work at all!. I love sharing the secrets that take a meal from excellent to "OMG I cannot get enough of this". Or talking with couples while I make their special meal and learning how they met and why they are so special to each other. And those who have been at my foodie parties always teach me something new. I never cease to be amazed about how much I learn both about food and human nature when working with my clients.

Kim is an excellent cook. She always is open to trying new things and working around my children's particular tastes. The food is always delicious and nutritious. Perfect for me and my family. She has also cooked for my office Christmas party - as expected, excellent and delicious.

We weren't sure what to expect when Kim was scheduled to prepare dinner for us in our home. She showed up with all her ingredients and gear in tow. She sized up her work space and unpacked LOTS of food. We decided to watch her preparing the meal instead of making ourselves scarce and ended up chatting back and forth as she went about her work. She made a wonderful appetizer for us to enjoy as she focused on creating a salad course and then the main course. Kim did not skimp on the portions; there were plenty of leftovers. Yum! We learned a few things too and plan to employ them with our own entertaining. It was a FUN evening and we ended it with the three of us sitting in the dining room enjoying a nice glass of wine after dessert! The experience was terrific. Kim is the consummate professional and a talented chef. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

What types of customers have you worked with?
I cook for families with children, so they don't have to subsist on a steady diet of chicken nuggets. I facilitate foodie parties for those who love food but don't always have the time to shop, setup and cleanup. Cooking lessons as bridal shower gifts for new brides or anyone who wants to know how to cook a special meal.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
