I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional electrical work Sylvester completed in my bathrooms and guest bedroom. He installed 2 new medicine cabinets, added junction boxes, installed new ceiling lighting, and installed motion sensors. We added additional work to the project while he was here, and he was gracious, incredibly accommodating, and patient throughout the process.
He was extremely skilled, reliable, and responsive from start to finish. He took the time to answer my questions, explain what needed to be done, and make sure everything was completed properly. Just as importantly, he has an incredible personality—friendly, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to.
The work was clean, efficient, and beautifully done. The new lighting, medicine cabinet, and motion sensors have made such a difference in the space. It’s not often that you find someone who combines exceptional skill with great communication, reliability, flexibility, and such a wonderful attitude. I had an issue with a noise coming from my breaker box. He diagnosed the problem quickly. It was a transformer going bad that was connected to my doorbell. He was able to disconnect all the wiring and remove the transformer at my request as the doorbell was outdated and unnecessary. He also answered all of my questions and gave me good advice on other electrical issues I may encounter as a first time homeowner.

Had Sylvester switch out our kitchen light and had him change out our bathroom dimmer switch (new wiring had to be ran). He was a very nice guy but wasn’t very communicative. He installed our kitchen light but ended up putting our wall plate on backwards to our switch, so I ended up fixing that. The light is crooked and not even on the ceiling but it took multiple hours to do so I wasn’t going to be picky about it. Our bathroom situation however was not the best. He realized our dimmer that we showed him ahead of time would need new wire ran from the exhaust fan. He didn’t have wiring and said he would come back the following week, which he did. Before he left we asked if we needed to provide wiring for the switch and he said no he could get it from another site. When he came back to switch it he didn’t lay anything down in our brand new marble bathroom… insulation was everywhere, holes were cut in the wall without him telling us prior, we didn’t even have a chance to move our toothbrushes. He spent 5 hours trying to get our dimmer switch to work. He finally got it but that switch powers our hallway switch and he never rewired that so now our hallway light does not work. We had to patch 2 holes in our drywall and all the plates were installed upside down again. On top of that he tried to charge an extra $110 for 25 ft of wire he bought when we asked if we needed to provide him wire. It only required about 10 ft if that. He was supposed to get with me about a date to come fix the hall light now but never heard back from him. Really not a great experience but hey at least the bathroom dimmer is working and the kitchen light are working.
